This notice explains what information h-to.com receives and how H-TO uses it.
Contact and booking information
When you send a question or request a meeting, the website asks for your name, email address, optional organization name, your question or project context, and a meeting time when applicable.
H-TO uses that information to verify your email address, answer your question, review the work you want to discuss, and arrange the meeting. It is not added to a separate marketing database.
Questions and replies remain in the transactional email system. Booking details remain in the related Microsoft calendar event and email records. Temporary email-verification records expire automatically.
Do not submit passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through these forms.
Website operation
The website and its security providers process the technical information needed to deliver pages, restrict access from outside the United States, prevent abuse, and verify that a visitor is human. This may include an IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, requested pages, dates and times, and security signals.
H-TO uses self-hosted Plausible Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources, and website engagement. Analytics are hosted at analytics.h-to.com and do not use cookies. H-TO does not use advertising pixels or advertising conversion tags.
The analytics script excludes URL fragments and query parameters other than standard campaign tags. Contact form contents and booking verification tokens are not included in the analytics we send.
Service providers
H-TO uses Cloudflare for network security, geographic restrictions, and human verification; Microsoft for calendar availability, bookings, and Teams meetings; Amazon Web Services for transactional email; and hosting providers needed to operate the website.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident.
Retention
H-TO keeps questions, replies, booking details, and related business records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, administer a meeting, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation. Security and hosting providers retain technical records according to their own settings and policies.
Your choices and rights
H-TO does not sell personal information. Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may ask whether H-TO holds information about you and request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy. You may also ask how the information was used or disclosed and appeal a qualifying denial.
H-TO may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Information provided for verification is used only to evaluate and answer that request. Authorized agents may submit requests when applicable law permits it.
Security
H-TO uses administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled by the website, although no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
United States only
H-TO provides services only to customers in the United States. The website is not offered to or intended for people or organizations outside the United States.
Children
The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. H-TO does not knowingly request personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this notice
If the website’s practices or providers change, this notice will be revised and given a new effective date.
