Time tracking and calendar sync

Turns calendar events into editable time records, project reporting, and scheduled exports without making people recreate their day manually.

Why it was needed

People were already recording much of their work in calendars but still had to rebuild that activity in timesheets.

Time management

What changed

The system converts calendar events into editable time records, supports project and budget reporting, supports direct corrections, and produces scheduled reports and exports.

Key requirements

A calendar event may move, repeat, be cancelled, overlap another event, or hide its private details. Synchronization updates the existing time record instead of adding another copy, keeps private information private, and leaves ambiguous project assignments for the user to correct before reporting.

Main features

  1. Synchronize calendar events
  2. Create direct time entries
  3. Assemble time records
  4. Generate reports
  5. Schedule report delivery

Result

Automated timesheet assembly while allowing users to correct entries.
