AI-assisted email drafting

Helps staff draft replies using the selected email conversation and its attachments. A person reviews the draft and decides whether to send it.

Why it was needed

A shared-mailbox process required staff to find the right message and attachments, carry that context into an AI workspace, and prepare a response.

AI & communications

What changed

The workflow performs those transfers through the existing interfaces while keeping drafting separate from the decision to send.

Key requirements

The workflow opens one selected mailbox conversation, downloads its attachments, and starts a separate drafting context for that case. It does not reuse another customer’s material, and it stops if either signed-in interface is not showing the expected message or draft. Sending remains a separate, visible decision.

Main features

  1. Search a shared mailbox
  2. Download relevant attachments
  3. Transfer message context to an AI workspace
  4. Prepare response drafts
  5. Leave sending to the user

Result

Reduced manual transfer of emails and attachments while keeping staff in control of replies.
